These terms govern your use of the Glowmaxx iOS application (“the app”). By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. What Glowmaxx is — and is not
Glowmaxx provides appearance-related readings and lifestyle coaching: skincare habits, posture, grooming, and styling suggestions generated from photos you choose to scan.
Glowmaxx is not a medical service. Nothing in the app — readings, scores, coach conversations, or routines — is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and none of it should be treated as a substitute for consulting a qualified professional. The app does not recommend cosmetic procedures, medication, or restrictive dieting, and its scores are informal, non-scientific estimates intended for motivation, not measurement of worth.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Glowmaxx, and at least the age of digital consent in your country. By using the app you confirm you meet this requirement.
3. Subscriptions and billing
- Glowmaxx offers auto-renewing subscriptions (currently weekly and annual) that unlock the full reading, the coach, and the plan. Prices are shown in the app before purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel anytime in your iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under their standard policies.
4. Your content
You retain all rights to your photos and data. Photos never leave your device (see our Privacy Policy). You grant us only the limited license needed to process your data to operate the service — generating readings, syncing your record, providing the coach.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scan photos of anyone without their consent;
- use the app to harass, demean, or rate other people;
- reverse-engineer, resell, or abuse the service (including automated or excessive API usage);
- use the app where prohibited by law.
6. AI-generated content
Readings and coach replies are generated by AI. They can be imperfect, incomplete, or wrong. Use your judgment; do not rely on them for decisions with medical, financial, or legal consequences.
7. Wellbeing
Glowmaxx is designed to encourage steady habits, not appearance anxiety. If using the app makes you feel worse about yourself rather than better, please stop using it — and if you are struggling with body image, consider speaking with a qualified professional. The coach is not a crisis resource.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, and our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Termination
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the effective date above and noted in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
